A Return to Who I’ve Always Been
The Journey to Self-Leadership, Authentic Connection, and a More Meaningful Life.
My career has spanned sales, business development, entrepreneurship, and coaching. Throughout those chapters, I experienced success by many external measures, yet I came to recognize that professional achievement and personal fulfillment aren't necessarily the same thing.
For much of my life, I made decisions based on expectations—what success was supposed to look like, what I thought I should do, and how I believed I needed to be perceived. Over time, I realized that the more I focused on meeting those expectations, the easier it was to lose touch with my own values, priorities, and sense of direction.
My transformation wasn't a dramatic career pivot. It was a return to who I've always been. I began to understand that meaningful change starts with the relationship we have with ourselves: recognizing what matters most, understanding the patterns that shape our choices, and having the courage to act in alignment with our values.
That realization changed how I viewed human connection. I saw that our ability to connect authentically with others is deeply influenced by how well we understand ourselves. When we're grounded in self-awareness and intentional about how we communicate and respond, we create the conditions for stronger relationships, greater trust, and more meaningful impact.
Becoming a speaker and a coach was the natural expression of that transformation. Today, I draw on more than 30 years of professional experience and my perspective as a Master Certified Professional Coach to help people strengthen their self-leadership, build authentic connections, and create a lasting difference in the world around them.
Through my TRUE North framework—Tune In, Recognize, Understand, Embark—I help audiences turn self-awareness into intentional action, because how we lead ourselves shapes how we influence others, the connections we build, and the impact we leave behind.
